In meditation, when we inhale the air comes into the inner world.
When we exhale the air goes out to the outer world.
The inner world is limitless, and the outer world is also limitless.
We say “inner world” or “outer world”, but actually there is just one world.
In this limitless world, our throat is like a swinging door.
The air comes in and goes out like someone passing through a swinging door.
If you think “I” breathe, the “I” is extra. There is no you to say “I”.
What we call “I” is just a swinging door which moves when we inhale and when we exhale. It just moves; that is all.
When your mind is clear and calm enough to follow this movement, there is nothing; no “I” no world, no mind, no body. Just a swinging door.

God said, “A certain servant of mine was sick; hads’t thou visited him, thou woulds’t have visited me.”

People are often unreasonable, illogical and self-centered;Forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;Be kind anyway. If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies;Succeed anyway. If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you;Be honest and frank anyway. What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight;Build anyway. If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous;Be happy anyway. The good you do today people will often forget tomorrow;Do good anyway.Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough;Give the world the best you’ve got anyway. You see, in the final analysis, it was never between you and them anyway,It is between you and God.

As God and Satan were walking down the street one day, the Lord bent down and picked something up. He gazed at it glowing radiantly in his hand.
Satan, curious, asked, “What’s that?”
“This,” answered the Lord, “is Truth.”
“Here,” replied Satan, as he reached for it, “let me have that – I’ll organize it for you.”
