Do you see how the hummingbird balances itself to sip the honey without ever touching the flower?
It hovers above it, balancing in the air while dipping its beak into the flower to drink the honey.
In your life you should be like a hummingbird.
Don’t touch the world. Balance above it without resting on it, and take only the point you need. That point is wisdom.
Good thoughts, good intentions and good actions will blossom into beautiful flowers of love and emit cooling fragrances within our hearts.
How beautiful that flower garden is when it blooms in completeness.
That is heaven and the One who dwells in that heaven is God.
God has said “I created man in My own image.”
But God has no form. Therefore, we can only ascribe to Him the unseen form of His many good qualities, such as patience, tolerance, and compassion, and the absence of qualities such as selfishness, pride, arrogance, intolerance, anger, jealousy, treachery, hate, vengeance, finding fault with others, etc.
Each time we remove one of these, it is replaced by a quality of God, and if we can complete the transformation, then we will have manifested the form of God’s qualities within us.
This is referred to as the state in which the form is human but the qualities and actions are divine.
This is the purpose of our lives and the reason we have been born here in this world.
It is also true that speaking of it or writing of it is easy, but doing it is very difficult.
God says “The many different things I created in the world are shown to you as examples. Use your wisdom to learn from them, and climb up. Look at this lotus I created.
“It grows up from the mud and lives in the water, but it doesn’t keep any of the dirt or water on its petals.
“You also grew from filth and slime, but unlike the lotus, you keep all of it within you. Because you hold so much dirt inside you, your life is one of suffering.
“But since the lotus doesn’t hold on to any of the things it grew from, its life is one of great beauty.”
