Did you ever hear
    an ant complain?

Work, work. work
    endless struggle.

Clear the debris
   bury the dead.

Feed the commune,
    perform duty; truly
         A wonder!

What a lesson
      for us mortals.

Were we to do, one day
      what an ant does
         every day

We might see,
       we might understand

And then, know that
      we must become
         Ants, ourselves.
