Never think that God is testing you.

That’s not the way He works.

Always interpret whatever comes as a chance for God to lift you up.

Look at it that way and think, “This is happening to show me something, to explain something to me.”

We need to realize that with each difficulty, He’s trying to lift us up from the shaky, unsteady step we’re on now and place us on a higher step, a step that will strengthen our faith and certitude, where we can establish a firm footing.

This is the path to true peace and understanding – there is no other way.
