Our minds are always in intense activity. This is not so good.
We should know how to give up our thinking mind, our busy mind.
In order to go beyond our thinking faculty, it is necessary to have a firm conviction in the illusion of our mind.
When we just observe the illusion we begin to feel the calm, peaceful mind.
When we start to cope with it we will be involved in illusion.
Shunryu Suzuki Roshi
Man is a subtle wonder. The body which he believes in is not his true form.
When man develops the wisdom which is capable of understanding this, he will give up the outer form and enter into his true form, the resplendent light form, which is inside the visible body.
It is said, in the darkness
one has a choice;
Either curse it
or light a light.
I cursed it
for a long time,
but found it stayed there.
And then I
saw a light; pure wisdom
That came from
a wise man.
Now, when it
gets dark
I turn on
the light;
So much better.
And besides I can
see to work.
At any moment in time, whatever may assail you, just connect your wisdom to the power of God, to the point of God’s truth, to His patience, tolerance, peacefulness, justice, honesty, serenity, faith and certitude.
If you make these firm within you right then and there, you can halt whatever trouble might come from the other side.
It won’t be able to crush you.
There will be no distaster.
Connecting these two points (wisdom and truth) will be like applying the brakes on those potential disasters, and saying ”Go back! ”
But if you fail to connect them in that split second of decision, then you will leave yourself open to whatever disaster comes to overwhelm you and your life will be in shambles.
