seeing the world

We see the world the way we see our selves. We hear this phrase from time to time and think to ourselves how clever and perhaps true, but the mind clicks in, as if by rote, and tells us – immediately – that may be true for others but you are a good soul and certainly finding valid fault or character flaw in another is harmless and in fact necessary to point out to the world what is wrong with it and its citizens. However I have come to the amazing revelation that indeed this old saying is totally true. If I am totally honest with myself and more important totally pure then I do not see wrong in my neighbor.I may see an act that is thoughtless or one done out of ignorance o rone which may cause damage of some kind. but I do not see fault and blame is strangely missing. It’s kind of like when you see your child do something wrong the wise parent understands because he/she did the same thing many years before at the same age. Wisdom understands, even the most painful acts. When we see this way then there is progress and hope for unity and good and peace
